I hate to admit it now but my most-loved item of clothing was probably my school uniform!

Oo Slinky, your boots would have been FAB with my coat and skirt!
A white knitted angora dress with a very high polo neck and long sleeves, the hem just about covered my bum. Worn very fetchingly with over the knee black suede platform boots.
Yes, I remember dolly rocker dresses, and bus stop, had a couple of them.
craft I too had white plastic pull on boots - with silver heels, and over the knee black leather Charles Jourdan boots which cost a months salary. And Biba blue denim boots with wedges. Wonder what I did with them?
And dresses barely skimming my knickers in blue, flame and black shiny fabric in which I danced on Top of the Pops, as well as suede hot pants and black satin hot pants with bib. Memory Lane ......
alba - no don't have the Bay City Roller stuff any more my Mum made me chuck them out when I grew up (sob, sob) I was a super fan, I had EVERYTHING!
I had a brown suede coat that I loved until I got paint on it and never managed to get it off.
1967, lime green mini dress, full front zip, and my first pair of tights from M&S....19/11d !!
Football kit.
When I was 13 in June 1966, my grandmother gave me a polo shirt, with a short zip in the top. It was bright purple and she had bought it from a shop called Lord John, in Carnaby Street, which was then at the height of its fame.
We lived in a small village in Somerset at the time and nobody, but nobody wore purple shirts. Its origin in Carnaby Street made it even more desirable, and I wore it until it was bursting at the seams...I was so proud !
