100% Cotton Bedlinen, In Wilkinsons !

Hard to believe but true. I was in my local branch of Wilkinson this morning, getting razor blades, shaving foam, etc, and I come across some deep-dyed 100% sheets and pillowcases. I thought they were poly-cotton from a distance but on closer examination I saw that they were 180 thread cotton.
I was somewhat surprised to find them in Wilkinson, of all places. They come in all sorts of colours and they appear to pretty good quality. Just I thought I would let people know, if like me, you have an abhorrence of poly-cotton.

There are lots of bargains to be had in Wilkinsons and their own branded goods (Wilko) are excellent.

mikey4444 has a really big local store in which he can shop.

I love going to Wilkos here in Romford.
Its got most things that i like to stock up on ..birds food, toileteries, kitchen stuff and so much more.

They may have changed the dye process by now but be very wary about buying the deep purple bed linen in Wilkos. I bought some 2 years ago, followed the washing instructions carefully by washing before use and the first time of use - horror of horrors, I ended up with the purple dye coming out of the sheets all over my mattress protector and I have a faux leather headboard in white which was badly stained from the pillowcases. I even got purple staining on my best cream satin nightie. I took lots of photos as proof, rang head office and got a grovelling apology, £50 compensation and a refund!

Thanks Ann. I was indeed thinking of the purple ! Perhaps that nice apple green will do instead.
