Graham - yes - and you should have been told that it was an RC skool when the kid went in.

The issue oop t North is that the RC skoolz get better results and so there are group of parents that want the education ( from said nuns actually ) but not the holy-mary-mudder-of-God bit.

Later on the non RC kids are excused the Religous Instruction lessons but I am not sure if it is appropriate to turf out a five year old and say just go and read by yourself.

Yes, Peter. Both parents knew it was an RC school and were quite happy about it. I was just making a point about the similarity between the acceptable RC brainwashing and the apparent non-acceptance of Muslim brainwashing, even when the majority of students have been brought up in Muslim households.
