I doubt it. It's just a simulation on a computer.
I doubt it will make any difference to goodlife !
I'm sure they can simulate the Biblical creation on their own computers. Computers just do what you tell them.
jno, do you want to sell your computer?

Yeah, what divebuddy sa- no, I can't bring myself to finish that!

Interesting, and potentially a very important development ass the models get better and more useful.
Fascinating, no doubt, but it doesn't answer the ultimate question for either science or religion. I don't see anyone frothing at the mouth at this.
/// boy is this gonna get the religious zealots frothing at the mouth,...///

I don't think so, why should it?
I should expect that there will be some cries from "religious zealots" but only from the tiny minority who still hold on to this bizarre idea that the Universe is only a few thousands of years old. Most other people will, I'm sure, be easily able to incorporate this into their faith without much fuss.
Don't worry. The simulation only starts at 12 million years after the beginning. That is of course still 11,994,000 years in the future.
It's not actually a picture of the universe though is it? It's just a bit of computer animation.
I could have drawn them a nice picture of some whispy looking dark matter and saved them a bit of money.
This is a just presentation tool.

The ideas in physics are very complicated and difficult to understand. A written description of the creation of the Universe has been around for quite a while. Now they have programmed a computer model that can demonstrate what they think the process was, in a visual way.

Surely, by now, everyone knows The Answer is 42
ludwig, it isn't just an animation, it is a mathematical model, the 'animation' is a representation of the results of the model being run.
