The song was broadcast on a British rock music show called 'The Old Grey Whistle Test'. I recorded the song off-air onto a cassette tape. This puts the date of transmission way back - at least into the 80's, maybe even the 70's. Unfortunately I missed recording the name of the group.
Currently I am converting my cassette collection to MP3 and that's when I came across this minor gem and it has been bugging me that I didn't know who performed it.
