Yes I watched it Sunday as it was a repeat last night . Had to turn away at times . I think one of them is ready to crack and I wonder if there is any contact to get him off if he does crack up. Like in celebrity get me out of here .
Well seeing that most of them think mucking about on a beach and a swim in the sea has priority over finding fresh water I don't think many would survive if it were real. Not a very good advert for modern man so far. Bear is monitoring them via their filming and they would be taken off if there was a problem. He already said the whole thing was going to be pulled if they hadn't found water or made fire when they did, they won't really put lives in danger.
I saw it, it's a bit like I'm a celeb with real people. They don't have a clue do they?
Strange at the last minute they got the fire going & one of them said "it turns out we should have been doing it this way" or something like that, so guessing they must have been given outside advice from somewhere.
I was'nt impressed by the ex police officer. He was gobbing off to the rest of the team at the start.Literally as they set foot ashore he was telling them to watch their footing etc.Ok.Someone should assume a leadership role if they have the authority and organisational skills but towards the of the episode Mr retired plod wanted to curl up and go to sleep having contributed little help in locating water or pathetically attempting to make fire.If he wanted to assume leadership he should of insisted that frolicing in the surf should wait and prioritise survival procedures.I would say Water, fire, shelter and food in that order.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and in that heat and muck I can certainly see why they frollicked on the beach and sea, it's the only way to get refreshed., Who knew it would take that long to get a fire alight. The ex-cop may be gobby but he talks sense. Can't wait for next episode.
