Also liver and kidney, (note - liver is not always recommended for pregnant women though), papaya, kiwki fuit, Bovril, baked beans, wholemeal bread, Marmite, cabbage and brown rice.
Cook vegs by steaming or microwave them to keep the nutrients in them as high as possible, rather than roastin or boiling.

If you were taking folic acid just for the baby, well... from what I have read and talked to my OBGYN about.... It only matters how much folic acid you had in your system before you were pregnent.. It would not really make that much of a diff now... I could go on and get scientific on the this.. but ... na..... You can look it up ... But remember not everything you read online is true.. Talk to your Dr...
