I want to copy some DVDs to an Androd tablet. The tablet doesn`t have a DVD drive so I will have to download them somehow. I have a Windows 8 laptop with a DVD drive so I was thinking that I will have to put the DVDs onto the laptop and then get them across to the tablet. I have heard about some software called Handbrake but is there a simpler way to do it?

Some DVDs can be up to about 7.5 GB in size, so you won't get many on your tablet unless you convert them first. Handbrake will convert your DVDs to a much smaller file size (as MP4 files). At least, that's how I do it and it works fine.

Thanks Aquariel. I would only want to copy a few to take away with me and then I`d delete them when I get home.
