Every time I get this magazine I am amazed by some of the items on this page.
Searching for someone they were evacuated with, not seen since.

Someone else not seen since 1946.

Someone wanting to contact midwife who delivered twins in 1955 to give an up date.

Seeking a nurse who looked after Ann in 1949.

Is this not a futile task? Or is it me ?

Well rather like when you asked this last month, I think as people get older they hark back to happy times and wonder what became of those they met along the way.

they wait till the wife dies, cara then all of a sudden they want to find their their childhood sweetheart, all they want really is someone else to look after them.
