Dogs shouldn't be allowed to wander free, they should be on a lead. Good job cat was there or it could have been much worse

I agree with you. It could have been worse for the lad. It looked to be a totally unprovoked attack - I could 'maybe' understand it if the boy had run past the dog.

To my shame my dog brought down a jogger one day and lay on top of the guy. It would have been 1980/1981, before I knew better.

That was a scary looking banana. My girl cat it easily spooked - if she makes a noise in her sleep and wakes herself up she usually racing away from the noise. This is the feisty one that took on the vet and vet nurse and a cat muzzle - and she won.
