Baggage Allowance On Easyet
35 Answers
Not being a seasoned air traveller, please will somebody confirm something for me. My friend (who IS a seasoned air traveller) says I can take my small suitcase on wheels (cabin bag) AND my handbag. When I look at the easy jet website I can't see where this is stated. I am NOT taking ANY hold luggage. Thank you.

Phew, yes I saw later posts. Thanks all. I'd better tell my friend too. Ummmm, it's a week in Fuengirola. It looks a bit like "just a beach" to me so I can't say I'm particularly looking forward to it. HATE flying so it will be just awful if I don't like the destination either. Not one for lying on a beach doing nothing, much prefer to see the sights. We do have a hire car so at least we can go further afield if the mood takes us.
Horseshoes, there's loads to do along that coast - we'll be to the east of you, at Benalmadena Costa. We're very familiar with there - yes, it's a beach resort but it's a resonable town too. The buses are brilliant and pretty cheap, you can always hop on a bus and go along to Marbella one way, or into Malaga to look at the city and the cathedral, if you don't want to drive on the main coast road. It's only a two hour flight so you are barely up and settled in before you are on the way down again. You can take sandwiches on board (IN the cabin bag!) if you don't want to rely on the easyjet trolley - most people seem to take a picnic these days on easyjet!
Thanks Boxy. I'm too busy gripping the back of the seat in front of me to eat, or indeed to use my hands for anything else!! Im hardly anle to mve my eyes rht or left. Yes, I'm THAT bad. I flew for the first time in almost 40 years last year and it was as terrifying as I remembered it. As you say, though a fairly short flight:-) we'll certainly be going along to Malaga. What about a trip to Gibraltar? Is it worth it?
You can print your boarding passes (for both outward and return flights) up to 30 days in advance, methyl. So unless you're going away for more than a month there should be no problem.
I'm pleased you rate Ryanair below EJ and that your ratings are comparitive. It's rather like Ofsted who I believe, when rating school performance, use "Outstanding", "Very Outstanding" and "Extremely Outstanding" !! :-)

yep, they've had a bumper year since they introduced seat reservations.

Ryanair was challenged about passengers carrying duty free in plastic carrier bags in addition to cabin bags. Passengers before hand were told these items were to be put into cabin bags. Ryanair lost. Its been passenger rights to buy and carry duty free bags for many years. Same applies to Easyjet.
