The following memory would cross my mind .when we were young we would have went to the place where the local football team gathered to get the cars for away matches.we did go to all the home games walking 5miles there and 5back anyway there would have been maybe two or three seats not taken in the cars .we were never asked would we like to go to the match .we just trooped off home not saying a word but feeling we would have love to have went with the team .we were young but a lesson .i learnt always try to think how a little gesture of kindness could mean the world to someone else .

There is of course every chance that those young men had been advised not to give lifts to their young fans in case it was misconstrued.
