...low dividing wall. The next door neighbour was doing a bit of gardening and he's come round and grubbed up the weeds. Would it be too much to ask him to come to the back garden to trim the hedges and mow the lawn?

not at all.....good morning to you x
Depends on how well you get on with the neighbour.
Don't tempt fate sandy, he might come back and replant the weeds.
quit while you're ahead, sandy. ;-)
I reckon if he is a good neighbour,,,,and you offer something in return,,,,,,"no worries mate".
And when he's done, send him round back to paint your fence and clean your windows on the way out...
Then tell him where i live.
(Lots of jobs here).

Hello Sandy, great to have your humour back on here.
hi sandy. nice to see you again. that neighbour you have . . . . . . . does he do lots of good deeds? does he want to do them full time?
No harm in asking. Great to see you back xx
he might turn out to be peddling strimmers or something and before you know it you'll have signed over a permanent direct debit for ever. Proceed with caution.
Welcome back Sandy - hope you and sis are well. JJConnemmara
Yup, sure he wouldn't mind Sandy - give it a go and could he paint the front porch whilst he's at it :-)
glad you are back x
