80s children's tv programme mr bits and pieces?

...i have vague memories of a kids programme broadcast during the mornings in about 1983. It featured a grandfather clock with a teapot on top of it whose lid would spin around in the air when excited. there was also a sort of white superimposed computer graphic figure, semi transparent, who would appear ....any ideas??

did it have a girl in it who used to talk to her dad,he was like this ghosty figure rock she had.in a oh no thats called out of this world.i think. sorry i am way off the mark,i am thinking bout summink else.
