Chilldoubt This is the point where I think Mr Farage is again 'playing to the gallery' To whit: "You're comparing a group of men to a nice family, whereas Farage was comparing them to criminal gangs." But Farage didn't mention criminal gangs. He just said a group of Romanians. In my opinion, I don't assume a group of Romanians to be criminals before I meet them....

facetious has all the vowels in the correct order. Even I knew that and I only started writing n stuff 2 years ago.
sp1814, you wrote:

But he didn't just say "Romanians", he said "a group of Romanian men". That doesn't sound like "blanket coverage".

You also wrote:

But he did qualify the statement. He said "a group of Romanian men". Ironically, you then - facetiously - twisted your analogy to match what he actually said!

I do wonder, when you wrote the above statements, whether you knew what Farage had actually said. I'm no fan of UKIP - I've already voted (postal) in these elections, and it wasn't for them - but I find some of the arguments against them quite desperate.
