Increase YouTube views

Is there any way to increase the views on a youtube video quite alot?
Also, even when i click on a link the views don't increase the next time i check it.. why is this?

How to increase views?
1. Link to it on lots of sites
2. Think carefully about the title or description of your video. If you call it 'Diophantine Equations', with no further description, it won't show up in many searches. If you call it 'Sexy Dancer' with a description that says 'Hunky guy dances to Jennifer Lopez song with a Rihanna look-a-like', it will be found by thousands of searches ;-)

Yeah the only thing the video isn't uploaded by me...
I need the views to increase because.. well i was an extra for a tinie tempah video a couple of weeks ago and you got a youtube link with some of his lyrics in it (everyone got their own link). We need as many views as possible and there is a leaderboard so if your in the top 10 then that's good. No.1 wins 4 vip tickets to see him again!! I reallly want these tickets so badly haha so need to get the most views!

It says only people with the link can view it - so the general public (apart from us) can't? hows that?

I assume it means you can click on the link but can't actually search for it in Facebook.

It's been set as unlisted.

Youtube videos can be

Public - anyone can see them and they are listed in searches

Unlisted - anyone can see them but they are not listed in searches, you need the link to find it.

Private - only upto 50 youtube users that the video owner specifies can see them

Oh and Sophie, you are not seeing your views updated straight away due to Youtube freezing them to check that they are genuine views. It does this about the 300 mark but is usually up to date within a few hours.
