I have to agree with Campbellking im afraid, I use to dislocate my shoulder playing tennis and football, I use to be out for at least 5-6 weeks, due to tendon etc - dont rush back I did that once and then my shoulder kept dislocating, you will also notice I said use to dislocate it, I dont play sport anymore as I had to have it operated on and now its to fragile so dont mess with it, thats my advice, sorry to be negative and I know how painful it is, get it moving as quick as possible and strengthen it gently, physio is great help
Cheers,
steve
Poor you m4roon77!
My boyfriend disclocated his shoulder about 18months ago, and had an operation on the 31st January to repair the cartilage in that area. He is now having physiotherapy and his doctor has said his shoulder won't be fully functional and back to normal for another three months. He's not allowed to indulge in contact sports, and is a lottle meeked he can't play footie on a Sunday until April/May!
I hope it's not too painful for you.
