Jumping Screen

My screen is jumping up and down all the time, not the toolbars at the top or anything else, just the screen with writing on, even typing e-mails is becoming really hard to do. Any help?

This happened to me some time ago. It turned out to be a defective mouse. I borrowed one from a neighbour and tried it on my computer and the problem disappeared. Bought a new mouse and had no trouble since. Not my bright idea, I might add, but my son's who works in IT! Hope it works for you.
