Two crows going absolutely mental in the garden so I went to investigate. They were attacking neighbour's cat which was cowering on the ground. Guess our Millie got a bit too close to a nest.

oh dear!

is the cat alright?
have you identified the nest maggie?. Crows, jackdaws and the like are usually good at making nests in hard to get to places. On the other hand, a fledgling might be around and in need of the parent's protection from those darn cats.

Yes Excel, Millie is OK. I clapped my hands and the crows flew off and Millie scarpered home double quick. You could be right seadogg, maybe a fledgeling out of the nest.
Crows can be aggressive to cats just because. Crows often go for my cat for the fun of it.
Yep, magpies ( members of the crow family ) have attacked our cat in the past.
