Nissan Terrano
when starting the terrano...if i turn the key quickly ...the car wont start it just clicks.
If i turn the key slowly it starts ok.... what causes this ?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.With most vehicles today it's always a good idea to turn the ignition key to the 'on' position and wait a couple of seconds to let all the warning lights 'do their thing.' Diesel-powered vehicles also benefit from the slight delay (allows the glowplugs to reach max). True, there could be an ignition key/mechanism fault with your Terrano ... I'm not familiar with the actual vehicle, we don't have them in South Africa ... hope the above helps ...
