Iphone Sync

I've recently bought a second hand iphone . it doesn't appear to have been factory reset properly as when I click on the sync tab in settings on the actual phone it says ' phone will be synced once connected to stephs imac'
And then the date it was last synced.

Am I right in thinking that if I connected the phone to iTunes on my laptop, it wouldn't work as its already been connected to previous owners iMac?

Reset it yourself.

Go into settings, general, reset (bottom of list). & reset whichever you wish
