Why is it that only the Daily Mail is reporting on this person's rants, had he had belonged to UKIP and made the same remarks, it would have been headlines all over the media?

Because responsible media recognise the rantings of a nobody are not significant and don't warrant news coverage.

The Daily Wail of course (and the Standard which used to be owned by the Wail until they sold it to the Russians) has a different agenda:

Highlight disproportionately anything that might discredit muslims, immigrants, people on benefits etc etc

Fortunately, there are still many people who stop and think about this dishonest nonsense and can see it for what it really is.
