I am trying to lose a stone in weight so have cut out chips, roast potatoes, ice cream, cakes all the things I enjoy, the last couple of days I have been good, but I am having really bad hunger pains inbetween meals, will these subside eventually?

Not if you have a McDonald's Memphis burger.
Snack on fruit or drink water in between meals
Eat something on your allowed list.

I'm doing it myself ummm, I dont have an allowed list, not keen on fruit Ken but will give it a try inbetween meals
It will start to subside when your stomach shrinks a bit and fills quicker. Thats what usually happens with me anyway.
Have a scoot around the internet and look for low fat snacks. Eggs are quite good.

Do you like veg and soup?
Make sure you have 3 meals a day. I breakfast (porridge or cereal) between 7.30 - 8 a.m., my lunch is any time between 1 and 2 p.m. and is usually a salad or home made soup, i have an apple at about 5.30 and my evening meal between 7 and 7.30. With my last brew of the day at 10 p.m. i usually have another apple or a health bar. It's all a matter of educating your gut to expect less.

Yes I like most veg, and I dont mind soup, but I'm not keen on vegetable soup
This soup is made with nothing but broccoli and water (the cheese is obviously optional) I've tried it and it's alright...

I will make that soup yum, thats just my sarcastic sense of humour ladybirder
I always cut a massive bowl of salad every morning, drink a pint of water before and after every meal, eat protein at every meal and snack on the salad between times. Soup for at least one meal per day and you are never hungry, it's a super easy diet ( mine is slightly complicated by the fact that I'm a type one diabetic so have a small amount of carbs with each meal too) but essentially that's it for anyone who isn't.
It will subside eventually, but in the meantime try a healthy snack or a cup of coffee.

I'm quite a fan of rice cakes. Find them near the crisps or near the cheese biscuits in the supermarket. There is nothing to them and they resemble polystyrene! but they are good as a snack. Either have them with a very light spread and marmite, or very low fat cream or cottage cheese, or try the blueberry flavoured ones for a sweet treat. They are about 30 calories each.

Like ladybirder says..have things like peppers/carrots/cucumber in the fridge that you can slice up and pick on. Just chose your dip carefully.

Ken - it's actually really nice.

FS...coffee also helps to suppress appetite and chillis help stimulate your betoborical rate.
I'll have what Ummmm's drinking, my betoborical needs a boost.

Sorry ;-)
