I'm sat in sainsburys cafe waiting to report or admonish a bloke who has parked his 4x4 or whatever in the parent and toddler spaces
I wish someone would give him a ticket

I would be mortified if anybody asked me if I had the right to use the disabled bay, unless it were an authorised person asking.

MrsO, would you accept a simple 'yes, I do' or would you ask to examine the badge and ask about the disability?
It makes me smile when I see someone park in a parent and child space and the "child" is a hulking great adolescent
hc, I would accept a simple "yes I do". I am NOT the blue badge police lol!
I never used the parent parking spaces. They aren't necessary.
I used to pee me off when I couldn't get a p&c space especially as I have a 3 door and the doors are wider than usual. I didn't want to scrape someone else car door with mine whilst taking Little Tiggs out of the car.
pretty annoying to see young lads jumping out of their cars, in the disabled bay, and bounding into the shop. Got to feel a bit sorry for them too. Imagine being so self-centred. Can't be a happy sort of condition, can it?
Parent and child/disabled spaces are never policed so people can park where they want.....and do
The daughter refuses to let me use the parent and child spaces.............
I use the parent/child spaces where available.........even though I never have my kids with me

I would not dream of asking anyone in a disabled bay if they were disabled. I know too often a disability is not clear to the naked eye. However, the biggest clue I got to the gents intelligibility to use a parent and toddler was the obvious lack of any toddler!
To be honest when it's not busy it's not a problem but it was busy earlier and it is selfish and bad mannered
