To split hairs further, a defence against libel is 'Fair Comment'. This defence arises if the defendant shows that the statement was a view that a reasonable person could have held, even if they were motivated by dislike or hatred of the plaintiff.

I was going by her knowledge overall on here and for her age, not many her age would even hang around on a site like this IMO so I'm surprised about that too. All adds to the mix and I expect there are others who get things wrong as well.

I'm a member of quite a few sites actually dunnitall not just this one. If my plan A of being an actress doesn't pan out well within the next 5 years then I want to go into law or politics (or perhaps both) but we'll see how the acting goes first :)

Grasscarp, no, I don't shoot Christians. Wouldn't dream of it. I’m not spiteful. I'm not sure why but when I'm around the subject of religion seems to be introduced randomly into threads that are totally unrelated - as in this instance. This has certainly come a long way from Ukip! However, since you have seen fit to raise the subject I might as well say that it just saddens me that people are so afraid of nothing- that’s all - and believe me, I have studied that 'nothing'. It will no doubt come as something of a surprise to you, but I actually raise a lot of money for the upkeep of our beautiful 14th century village church - but then I am big on history and tradition. :o)
