the UK for one year what would you do, no interference from EU, other parties, your own party. no holds barred as it were.
what laws, statutes changes to Britain would you enable, make happen.

seeing as how many of us are armchair politicians, and think we know what we would do if in power, am interested.

I would reform immigration. No one comes here unless they can prove they have a trade and a place to work when they come here. Enough money to survive (with their family) without benefits from us for one year. Have no health problems requiring hospital intervention. No convictions before they get here and if they do get convicted they and their entire family will be deported immediately (passports will be destroyed). To get Out of the EU. Those criminally responsible for war crimes eg. Tony Blair for instigating the war in Iraq, strip him and his dopy wife of all the wealth they have accumulated since leaving No10, and then shoot them. Ditto to Gordon Brown (but not his family). Chop down all those windmills blighting our countryside and put them all around Chequers.
