Immigration is still growing under the Tories, because they can't stop it due to the fact that we are in the EU.

Dont you read the papers or even the posts on here. IT is the EU, that LAbour sold us off to that prevent this happening. That is why other EU countries are also up in alms.

aog...16:21...Labour were in power from 1997 until 2010, 13 years, and dave has been in for the last 4 years, so simple arithmetic will show that more immigrants came in in 13 years than did in 4.

Try looking at it like this, Mikey.

Had the country not suffered a huge influx of immigrants (and I don't blame any one of the main parties - I blame them both) over the years the government would be in a much better position to take harsher measures against those who refuse to work. Companies like those that Mr Gill runs would have been able to employ people already here - whose minds may have been concentrated towards work instead of benefits. Instead many of those already here "refuse to work" so employers have to turn to immigrant labour. That labour is rather like food banks - if it wasn't there it could not be used.

You are right Orderlimit...the huge Amazon "fulfillment centre" ie warehouse in proper English is about 75% non-British staffed, while there are thousands of people on the dole locally. Not a very nice place to work by all accounts that I have heard, but a job netherless.

people don't refuse jobs there are not enough jobs to go round, you can have your benefit cut for just being a few minutes late, sickness etc the days of saying no to a job have long gone.

i have explained before the only ones that seem to do ok and have these big tv's are the ones that have kids. lots of kids
