Grant confessed to Phil that he'd been having some therapy. His therapist had managed to persuade him to take up golf and stop hitting people so much, and he thought Phil might also benefit from this advice.
Phil said he'd be happy swinging a golf club as long as he could hit someone with it.

Grant was driving and took his eyes off the road for whole sentences. Every time he had a line he had to look at his passenger Phil to speak to. He drove 100s of yrds without looking at the road. The fact that they were so high up on the road was another giveaway, that actually they were being transported on the back of a truck.
