yup - J - jour

that is how we know the D in D-Day stands for er 'day'
because it is J in French.... yeah OK

and yes the much less known H-Hour was H-heure.

should be on French wiki - I'll check. Remember when you are putting your foot in it with the French that it isnt the D Day invasion, coz you cannot invade your own country...
