I give it a try, Paddy Mc Guinness, Alan Carr, James Corden John Bishop using the f word for laughs, turned off load of rubbish, are there any really good comedians about these days!!

There are good comedians around but, I agree, none of those you mentioned are IMHO.
Alan Davies, Jo Brand, Sarah Millican, Frank Skinner, Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey are all good.

I agree with Cloverjo, yes there are, and I agree with 2 or 3 of those listed as being worth a try. I'm not against swearing in comedy routines, it can work well. But I do like Tim Vine, who does rapid-fire groan-inducing but usually very funny puns, if you prefer a "clean" act. I'm not keen on any of the acts listed in the OP.

Is there really any need for that swearing ? I don't find it clever, Yes Caribeing, it's just a big turn off. I prefer the humour/sketches of Paul Whitehouse, Harry Enfield, Charlie Higson etc.

You could argue against the "need" for pretty much anything in entertainment but it's not a reason to not do it. I don't get why people get so focused on swearing, or are so black and white as to dismiss all comedy that includes swearing. It's not necessarily making any claim to be "clever", and there is plenty of non-swearing comedy that really isn't clever.
