I am a little concerned here about a memorial.
Rigby was murdered, not in the line of duty, there was no act of bravery, just someone being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Unlike for example Keith Blakelock who was hacked to death in an attempt to quell the Tottenham riots of the Broadwater farm.
Are we going to erect memorials for ALL innocent people who have been murdered?
A tragedy for him and his family, but i am a little uncertain as to the erection of a memorial.

There are plenty of memorials to victims of terror dotted about London Sqad.
The sheer brutality of this one, filmed and broadcast via social media means it is indelibly burnt into the publics memory.
I'm sure that it won't just be the family but the great and good of Woolwich who did their utmost for Fus Rigby on that day will use it as a source of comfort at some point in their future.
