sayings for a tattoo

i am getting a tattoo of a cross on my arm and im looking for  a good saying to have underneath it something religious like forgive us our trespasses can anyone help

if you *can't think* of a religious phrase to have engraved onto your arm, i suggest you don't have it! your tattoo should be yours alone, not suggested by a stranger on t'internet :D

I would go for something simple like:

"Believe"

or

"God is near"

or

"For our sins"

Or you could go for the comedy option:

"Christ woz 'ere"

Whatever you decide it doesn't hurt that much but make sure you are completely happy with it because it's with you for life.
