After Being Arrested For Various Offences,

that were not true,proven by CCTV,among other things I'm charged with threatening to kill four people,held at police station until cps decide and they duly charge me,after 96 days in prison I notice 3 of the 'witnesses' never even said I threatened to kill them. How can the cps do this and what should I do about it ?

I am not clear what has happened. Have you been tried and sent to prison or were you held on remand while evidence was gathered? Are you still awaiting trial or it this about an appeal hearing? More information needed please.

This is more serious than your land quarrel and I imagine is connected.

What you do about being charged with threats to kill, is NOT to think you can handle this yourself but to go out and hire a criminal lawyer. You have been remanded in custody, and as you say, duly charged,

so it is essential that you hire a lawyer.

None of the lessons you learnt during your long and unsuccessful land case will help you here - and the fact you have been remanded in custody means at the end of the day if you are convicted you may be sentenced to prison.

If you have been charged with an offence by the CPS - then the short answer to the question - how can they do this ? ... is
they think they can get a conviction on the charge.

Get a lawyer - NOW !

PP I have looked at notnutnut's profile and I can't make head nor tail of it. There seem to be at least 2 different cases that are getting mixed up together.

Hi Ed, we can but give advice on the facts given.

There was a long running land case which went up a bewildering number of blind alleys. involving CLCC and CCTV I recall.

In the present case, he had been remanded in custody and charged, and so what he has to do - is fight the case.

( can he get the charges dismissed because they are stupid ? no he has to defend the case in court when it comes up ).


I thought 3N was silent because he had accepted the civil judgement - silly me, it was because he was knocked up having taken the Law into his own hands.....

My apologies to to all concerned. It would appear that I've confused a lot of you yet again, I'll try not jump between cases without mentioning it.

My criminal posting is a resurrection of the original that I thought could be put better. The second reason is that I've incorporated it into the civil/land case that is now in RCJ. The third reason is that I'm far from happy since the whole of it was a fake with the purpose of getting me away from our land either by bail conditions or bangup. The 104 days was on remand since one of the 'witnesses' alleged I threatened him, all fake,no evidence at all. All charges were dropped except for affray that we had to fake up the circumstances for me to be guilty,time served and I could go home to look after my Ma since the claimant was pestering her. The fake affray never happened,or it would have been on the evidential DVD. The witness is married to 'c's granddaughter and is a 'witness' in all the other linked cases but quite dim and does not think before he puts pen to paper, nor do any of them come to think of it. I'm certain I can prove conspiracy to pervert the course of justice even if I do have to start it as a private prosecution which I will shortly. PP, the civil case is far from over, is viable and in my opinion a few heads will roll over this, I'll keep you posted. There are no outstanding charges for any of the above. I could post a chronology if it's allowed ? Some one said all this resembled a Jon Grisham novel a while ago,well,the strange events keep coming still but I'm not I should post them just yet.
