Sorry royfromaus I loathe football, would rather watch rugby or American football. Too many divas in footie for me! And they are all grossly overpaid for kicking a wee ball.

Roll on Wimbledon (but not the female players - they are boring - I prefer to watch the men! By the time the World Cup finishes we will be starting the Winter football - time to buy more DVDs or books!

How long does the World Cup tournament last? Not long enough!

There aren't games on all 32 days. Most games come in the first two weeks to see who qualifies for the knockout stages.

You could read up fiscal law such as:

was the bonus paid to the England Winners team in 1967 taxable ?
No, the judges held it was unlikely to recur ( therefore not income )

or

What was the nature of the tax break which enabled - Escape to Victory to be specific, to be made ?
can't remember but that thankfully is also unlikely to recur....
