What Are The Most Popular International Pizza Toppings?

I'm doing one research for my restaurant related to pizza. And i want to know that what people like to add in their pizza as toppings. I want to make new and something different menu for people.

The first thing I add to a basic pizza is extra cheese. (Sometimes 'double extra cheese'). Then I'll be looking to add something spicy (such as pepperoni or spicy beef), perhaps with some onions. For me, anything with strong flavours will do except fish (no anchovies!) or sweet stuff (no pineapple!).

If you're looking for something completely new, how about minced venison marinated in a red wine sauce?

What is so objectionable about a warm open sandwich? Or a poncy cheese on toast? What is it that people dislike about pizza.

I used to love Prawn, sweetcorn and red onion pizza - but most company's shy away from adding prawns to pizza's in case of food poisoning :o(
So I make my own at home now (using a large tortilla wrap to get a really crispy thin base)
The secret is in the sauce - not too much oregano or it becomes bitter

Our local Italian restaurant do one called Vesuvio.. It's fab. Really hot and spicy. We were in Naples last year and hired a taxi and driver for the day; at the end of the day, we asked him to take us to HIS favourite restaurant rather than a touristy one. OMG, the BEST pizza I EVER tasted. All to do with the Naples tomatoes I expect. All the best:-)

I don't like spice. I love garlic though- a good combination is to put it on the pizza, instead of having to buy separate garlic bread. I like vegetarian - peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.
