What is it, please?

Ha ha, no seriously ...

When you pay for something and have to give the security number from the back of a debit card ... do you turn it over and check it?

I do.

It's only 3 digits, for goodness sake.

And I know what they are.

I just can't stop myself having a quick check ...

... juuust in case it's magically changed, maybe?

If you know it, scrape it off so a thief (or a brazen prat in an EE store) can't use it.

age !
Right!
It's different on each of my many cards so I do have to check it.
I do- and i know it on all my cards. I also know all the long card numbers and expiry dates. Wondering where son gets autism from. Hmmm..

blame dad pix ! it is ALWAYS his fault ..lol
Lol. So i keep telling him! ;-)
I filled in payment details online the other day - I knew the card number, start date and expiry date and security number. I had to sit and think when it came to filling in my name, my mind went blank.
Just when you finally get confident you know it, they send you a replacement.

Tat sounds complicated, Psy
Hey, if I can do it, you'll find it so easy, just remember those 3 digits xx

Is that online, Psy, or at the shop?

(even though I don't know what an EE store is)
They do phones and stuff. And thanks!
yes, that is curious. I quite happily remember and type 12 & 16 digit numbers but I always get my debit card out and 'ready' for that 3 digit security code. lol. Must be a psychological thing.
