My daughter has been advised to try a device inserted in her back for chronic pain. She is 55 y. o. and has a couple of damaged discs. She has had two back surgeries. And an additional complication that she has a pacemaker due to heart mylophia. Is there any one in AB that has had experience with this?
I am in the mother's traditional worry mode right now.
I have had one friend that ended up an alcoholic due to such pain and another addicted to prescription pain killers. I would appreciate any discussion here. It is times like this I really appreciate Squad and ABers. The manufacture of pacemakers, thought it could work. They would do it on a trial basis and then install it permanently if it works. Thank You!
nohorn......no, i don't have chronic back pain, but what you have described is a well documented and successful method of treatment for this condition and well worth a try.
I will not try to explain this, as this link describes it far better than i could.......
