Can the bank not freeze my account
1 Answers
Quite Recently I have had to go on the sick from my current job, but because of this obviously I have had no money, so no money has therefore gone into my account. I gave forms to my current employer over one month ago to fill out so I could claim I have only just today received them. But while the previous month has gone by the bank has constantly been pestering me my phone (also late at night) and letters to see when I have an income, I have called my bank a few times and even been in the actual branch to tell them my situation and they said they couldnt help me until I knew when i would be receiving some money. I asked them to freeze my account but they said they couldnt until I knew when i had some sort of income, surely they could be helping me now when I need them the most, I have had 100 charges here there and everywhere because they wouldnt freeze my account . Hopefully now I have the forms i can get some money and get back on the road to recovery but this situation has certainly not made things easier.
