Olive arrives for work.

I've got Work on one screen, and AB on another.

Olive calls out a cheery "Hello" and goes into the kitchen, saying she will put the kettle on.

(what she means, of course, is that she will switch on the kettle, but I can forgive Olive the occasional preposition at the end of a sentence)

Now, here's the thing ...

I just KNOW that, if I was looking at porn, the first thing Olive would do is put her head round my office door to say hello.

Is this proof that Sod's Law really does work?
