when i went in originally to shop i gave correct measurements ( i am not stupid ) i know exactly how to use a measure tape and i am 100 percent correct in the sizes i gave. any way somehow the shop during the whole process has got sizes wrong. they have left my wife without blinds.
what can i do ? HELP PLEASE

I must admit that this is something I'd never do myself. We always use Hillary's Blinds (and I have no connection with them, this isn't an advert) and they come and measure up themselves, so if anything's wrong it's their fault. They take into account the depth of the fixtures, everything, so it's not just the windows which you measure (but I am sure you know this).
First step - ask for a copy of the order form, and check it against the written measurements which you gave them.
Have you paid yet? I hope not, other than a deposit if required!

I think it would be a job for the shop if they are shortened, as it'll all have to be rethreaded. I'd go back to them, as mentioned above, and check the measurements against what they've provided.
I'm surprised you paid up front, I wouldn't ever pay in full for anything until I was satisfied with the whole job - it does give you less bargaining power. Good luck, though!

As has been said you need to look at what information you provided the blind company ans what was put on the order form which your presumably signed to confirm the order.
Once you have checked that then the blinds need to be measured and compared to what was agreed.
As far as adjusting them goes it will depend entirely on the style of blind, and if they are longer than specified in the original order it is for the supplier to resolve.
Can your wife not take comparative measurements?
