What a great pity then, that Mr Gambaccini didn't stand on top of a tall building, with a megaphone, and tell people all about the pervert J Savile.

To be honest, I am fed up to the high teeth about hearing from tiresome and self-seeking celebrities that now say that they knew all about Savile, years ago, but did ***-all about it.

If they had spoken out all that time ago, maybe the little boy, with the broken arm, on the hospital trolley wouldn't have had to suffer a serious sexual assualt, amongst hundreds of other people, in Hospitals, the BBC or anywhere else.

Wow mikey you took a chance by using those two words 'these days', when I have done the same out come the history books to prove that things such as this have taken place (in this case) since cameras were first invented.

You and me both, since we can't punish vile Savile, it is time that some of these celebrities and others who knew what was going off were investigated into why they allowed such things to go on.

AOG, it's not so much the celebrities who might have heard rumours about Savile who need to be called to account. It's the people in authority in various hospitals who allowed him a free run of the places.

I thought my view of Savile couldn't get any worse, until I read about the necrophilia. There are no words to accurately describe what a scummy, despicable low-life he was. Why on earth was he given access to mortuaries for goodness sake? Did no one think to check what he was up to? And call police?
