Firstly it was the Jaffa cake, now the chocolate snowball has fallen foul of judge's high standards of what makes a cake and what makes a biscuit. What do you think?

Like in the Jaffa Cake fiasco the company have been charging VAT for years. They now want a refund of the VAT. Will they return the VAT to the customers? No!

Do you mean teacakes, methyl?
Must be Scottish then, Humber.

A bit old fashioned too....what my Mum used to call a bar of chocolate.

......the ones with a bit of jam at the bottom, on top of the biscuit?
You can't dunk cake.

Well, you can but it tends to end messily.
You certainly wouldn't want to dunk a snowball....unless you wanted a very sweet chocolate and coconut drink.....
Teacakes where I grew up were bread rolls, or barm cakes, in more refined climes.
Hello m'lady, long time no "speak"! I hope you & yours are well?

Cake should be served with cream, biscuits are for dunking - the biscuit that doesn't need a bit of moist wi' it (as I believe Mamya is fond of saying, being from oop t'North 'n' all...) hasn't been invented IMO :-)
These are the teacakes I meant.

mamy, that's teacake porn.
Isn't life problematic?
Am always ready for the slathering of butter...

...Good evening Mamya, trust you're well? :-)
I am dear, you?

I'm well thank you, though I seem to be in urgent need of teacakes & butter now!

I'm reserving judgement until snowballs and Jaffa cakes appear on The Great British Bake Off.
