Sunday. It's looking a bit better today. We missed the rain on the charter yesterday, a bit while we were doing the checks on the boat but that was it.

Foxy and tiggy both doing well. Foxy doesn't mind me watching him now, he's turning into a fine looking lad.

The wildlife were all out and about, mainly heading for home. We don't seem to have any rabbits around here, it's probably too rocky for them. it was a stone quarry in days of old. Also you don't often find rabbits, foxes and badgers in the same area. Foxes and badgers are both partial to rabbit. It would be a very silly fox that took on a badger, so they co-exist happily.

The dawn chorus was making up for yesterday, the blackbirds particularly were in fine voice.

I must be away at 8. I have to pick my mate up in Thornbury for a day in the Heritage Centre.

Have a happy day everyone.

DT - Bog roll? surely not! embossed or quilted? Aloe or Eua de corgi?
#Eau# need more gingerbread coffee!
"My husband and I are delighted to announce that Sir Chris Hoy will be made my Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from my Kingdom of Scotland to my pad in London. That Salmond will be imprisoned in the Tower and hung drawn and quartered, though the Corgis don't like eating fatty meat though."
By the time the corgi is finished with it, the bog paper is probably Eua. Definitely now Andre(x)w's
Corgi's'll eat anything. That's why they are only tiny or they'd be able to reach the crown jewels.

I wonder if the Queen's bathrooms have these installed for the royal tushie. I remember the first time that I stayed in Japan, the Tokyo Imperial Palace Hotel and was confronted with one of these - it even came with an instruction booklet.

Maybe that 0749 post should become policy DT..... ;0)
at least the sun doesn't shine in a Tower cell and probably not even a Holyroodhouse one either.
