I recently heard a "new" version of the beatles song SAY THE WORD any ideas who it is? (very chunky slow guitar.)

Theres a song called "Pass the Word" (The Beastie Boys' Pass the Mic vs The Beatles' Say the Word) by Goddam Guest, i'm not sure if it's what your after.
