Frozen Shoulder Given Co-Codamol 30/500 Feeling Sick

I have been given co-codamol 30/500 I took 2 (3 hours ago and they have really helped with the pain however I am feeling really sick is this usual? It really works

Not unusual I always feel sick on that dose. I really try to avoid them as the last time I was prescribed I was very sick.

They can disagree with a few people,go back to your doctor and tell them this is the case and they will prescribe a different painkiller for you,I had co-codamol a few years ago for pain but unfortunately they did nothing for me.

All pain killers have side effects. Some people can't tolerate codiene .I can't it upsets my stomach .Try taking it with food .That may help to stop the sickly feeling .

I cannot take prescription painkillers at all, they all seem to make me sick (well, the ones I have had so far). As someone else suggested, best to go back to the doctor.

30/500's knock me out, I stick to 15/500 just enough, but different for everyone.

My daughter is physically sick if she takes any of the co- type tablets

why do some people have trouble with codeine? I'm not sure what reacts with them.

It takes months to overcome a frozen shoulder. You need to do the prescribed stretching exercises and other routines, and do regular physio- it's very painful but worth it

You'll find you get constipated and drowsy too.

Steroid injections into the subacromial bursa helped me tremendously.

Take your meds with or following food and never mix with alcohol.

One thing to look out for as a side effect Gordie is Constipation,
they're well known for causing it!

I was prescribed them, they made me feel very dizzy. I went back to GP and he prescribed the lower strength. I cannot take those either on a regular basis as they make me constipated so I just take at bedtime along with Gabapentin for pain relief.

mrs c had a frozen shoulder last year really painful had to go in to hospital and had Manipulation under Anaesthesia done the trick alright no pain at all now

Ask your G.P. for Mefanamic acid (Ponstan) brilliant for muscle and joint pain with little or non side effects for me. It's also good for dental pain and period pains.
