Astral Projection

My question is are any of you able to Astraly Project & if so is it possible for me to learn how to do it ? Sensible answers please (No clever dicks) TIA.

I have no doubts as to the feasibility of projection. I too have looked into it but I'm afraid that I'm on too much medication to be able to get into the 'right' frame of mind. However, if you are interested there are many books, tapes etc available on Ebay - whether they actually work is debateable but it's worth taking a look. I'd love to know if it is possible especially as my daughter has just gone to live in Australia for a year and I'm already missing her terribly.

i think ive done it by accident a of times... in that asleep / awake limbo land. im sure you could learn, but it would take a long, long time in my opinion.

There's a prize of $1 million waiting in the USA for anyone who can successfully do this and it remains unclaimed. The conditions around the prize aren't unreasonable. You are asked to enter a room in a laboratory, without a mobile phone or any other form of wireless communicator and do what you say you can do, i.e. 'look' outside the room. As I say no one has been able to claim the prize. The prize can also be claimed by spoon-benders and telepaths, indeed most paranormal powers would get you the cash - and still it's up for grabs. Now my totally biased view of this is that the reason it's still there is because no one, and I mean no one has now, or has ever had such skills. Call me picky, but until someone picks up this money everyone who professes to have these powers is IMHO a liar/ fraud/ charlatan or hopelessly deluded.

I remember a series of books in the 60's by Lobsang Rampa (spelling?) telling how to do this very thing. I did try to follow his teachings but found I get get out of my head a lot easier in other ways!

Hi Ron. Some years ago I got a handful of books on astral projection and, like most things, if you study it long enough it will happen. I achieved 2 OOBE`s (out of body experiences) and I got them by studying the various methods that would bring about these OOBE`s.

It was a most intriguing event and firmly convinced me that the mind was able to separate from the body. One fairly easy method to learn is: lie on you back in bed. Half roll over so that you can look at the floor by the side of the bed. Study it. Look at the carpet or legs of the bedside cabinet, whatever is there in your view. Study the carpet pattern or floor. Look at pieces of dust etc. Lie back on bed and picture in your mind`s eye what you just saw. Now half roll over again and study your `picture`. Do this a few times. Now the next step is to: without moving your body, imagine you are rolling over onto the floor and your body coming into contact with your floor `picture`. Keep repeating this. If you practice it nightly you will eventually have an OOBE.
