what is wrong with my foot?

i have had a pain in my foot for 2 monthes and i have no idea what i could have done to it, it really only hurts me after running and playing football. Anybody no what is wrong with my foot please answer this if you can

prehsps you have pulled/strained a tendon? ive torn mine 3 times and now excessive walking can make it hurt. is it underneath on the arch?

ive had a similar thing, completely unexplainable. To my knowledge i havent kicked it, dropped anything on it etc but from nowhere it gets really painful. I can touch it and its fine, can bend my toes etc so know nothings broken but as soon as i start to walk its really painful and i have to limp everywhere!! Doc said its like an arthritic pain even though im still far from an age i'd associate with that sort of thing! Painkillers ease it but it comes back straight after.......saying that, after a month or so the pain went as soon as it had started. Was fine for a few weeks and then came back...got a mind of its own! If it continues see your GP and theyll prob send you for an xray and blood test just to check

Hi silverdale, my sister suffered a painful foot and her GP told her it was a 'spur'. It was treated with a steroid injection. It can still cause great pain for her. Better see your GP Hope you sort it soon .

Hi silverdaler, my fella had the same problem. He went to the Dr and was told that he'd fractured a bone in his foot (probably playing football) years ago and because he hadn't done anything about it it had healed itself. Now whenever he gets a new pair of trainers or football boots his foot has to adjust to the new shape because it was used to the support of the old one. His foot hurts for about 2-4 weeks everytime he gets a new pair. Weird huh?
