I just went out and bought one. I don't really want to quit smoking; just cut it way down both for health and financial reasons. A carton of cigarettes, the cheaper ones, is now $62 which is about 33pounds. Anybody on here using one of them? What are your impressions of them?

£6.17 tax on 20 cigs. Very little on e-cigs. The government will loose out big time on tax collected. Will the drop in spend on smoking related health issues compensate?
or will the tax on e-cigs rise?
Well maybe EDDIE. The trouble is that a) no one knows about the long term effects and b) there is no control over what goes in the juice that goes into them.
^^ Tobacco kills 50% of all its users according to the latest estimates. eCigs have to be better than that. What other product is so dangerous that it will kill half of all who use it?
I think they are wonderful. Like you I just wanted to cut down, but after 4 months of using them I stopped smoking entirely without any problems and have now been a happy non smoker for four and a half years.
