My daughter's new webcam has stopped working, have tried reinstalling it but pc doesn't recognise it now. It works fine with the laptop. Can anyone advise what might be wrong. Many thanks.

If the webcam works on another machine, it may be the USB port that's at fault. Can you check if the device works when plugged into another USB port? Can you check the ports using another USB-connected device (like a printer or scanner)?
