Knackered Hard drive

Hi there! I have just acquired a Seagate U Series 5 20gb hard drive which has some damaged clusters on. I have tried all the conentional methods (scandisk, defrag, re-formatting etc) and it just wont fix them :( Any ideas please?

Try a low level format (use maxllf.exe from http://www.ameriwebs.net/groupworks/george/maxtor.
htm ). I would not trust my valuable data on a drive with potentially bad sectors but it is your choice.
